Pictures and more

I know it's late but there are a few pictures of Tamina when she was first born. I just got a new lap top and for some reason the old one wouldn't let me post pictures. I have plenty of pictures but I have to add them to this computer and once I do, I will post them on here.

I do have quite a few things to talk about, and I'm not sure I have time to get into it all at the moment but I will start with a few.

Once, Tamina is doing wonderful. She is still on oxygen but not for long. She is about 7 pounds and growing well. She's off her feeding tube and is eating like a little piglet. She is doing wonderful and I am so blessed.

Greg and I have been having problems lately....It's hard with him being in school and then having a baby on top of that makes it so much harder. I'm not going to go into detail but he did something bad recently that has really shaken my faith and trust in him....He didn't cheat, I just want to clarify that. Granted now I am constantly wondering, just because my trust in him was ruined.

We weren't intimate for almost 5-6 months and I know that was really bothering him, so that on top of school, on top of a screaming baby all the time, on top of all the stress of a new baby makes me want to scream!! Up until Saturday I seriously went almost two weeks without him kissing me and even longer without him saying I love you....How do you get past that? How do you trust someone who won't hug or kiss you or tell you they love you? I'm going to stop talking about Greg and I for now, but I will talk more about it later on, trust me....

I started working at Hardings again. I am only a cashier of course, but I already have all my hours back, thank goodness. I work 5 days a week at at least 33-37 hrs. I'm glad, I like working. Joe is still working there, so of course we have started talking a lot again. Emailing all the time and what not. I missed our friendship. I really need a friend that I can trust and depend on and I believe that is Joe. :))

Okay, I lied I want to add something else about Greg that just happened. Monday's are supposed to be our "family day" the day where Greg, Tamina, and I spend time together as our own little unit without anyone else around....He OF COURSE had homework and OF COURSE still isn't done. Because while doing his homework he watches tv and makes it take 50 times longer....So apparently my plan for the night is like every other night, go in the room and read and then sleep.

I am trying to be the understanding girlfriend of a college student. But we need our time together, especially now when all we do is change diapers and make bottles. I don't know, obviously I'm the only one that feels that way, he doesn't seem to bothered by it. Anyway, It's time for me to go into the room and read.

I will keep you all posted on Tamina and my crazy insane drama filled life. :) I missed you all and thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts. You guys helped save Tamina's life!!

Much love and Happy Blogging!!

Update on Tamina

Well it's been awhile since I've written. Tamina is now 10 weeks old and she is doing great. She's 4 pounds 2 oz and will hopefully be coming home any day now. All we are waiting on is for her to get better at bottle feeding. :)) I have been with her since day one here at the hospital, only leaving twice due to the stomach flu.

I have had a lot of interesting expierences here so far. I met a doctor from south Africa that specializes in kangaroo mother care. He was pretty awesome. Tamina and I were on the news.....if you go to fox28.com and type in Nicole Ochart in the swath box you'll see it. I've been to meetings and have learned so much.

If you want to see pictures go to my facebook. Again type nicole Ochart into the search box and you'll find me.

I will officially be divorced on the 28th of this month and my GED graduation ceremony is coming up soon.

Btw is anyone else having trouble uploading pictures??

I can't wait to hear from everyone. My new email is ngaet5@gmail.com

Love and miss you all!!

Tamina Camille Walton

Okay, I'm sure some of you, if not all, are wondering what in the heck is going on with the pregnancy...Well, there is no pregnancy anymore. I had Tamina on December 1st at 1:38 pm. She was 1 pound 3 oz and was 11 inches long. Tamina is now 1 pound 7 oz and 12 1/2 inches long and doing better than I could have even imagined!! I have been trying to figure out how to put pictures on here of her and it's not working. I think the hospital has it blocked or something. So instead I am going to give you all my name and you MUST find me on facebook so you can see the pictures. My face book account is under Nicole Ochart. I'm the only one on there I believe. :) :)

Ever since she was born I have been in the hospital. I got discharged on the 4th and checked into the Ronald McDonald house the same day. I haven't left and I don't plan to.

Tamina is breathing on her own, she has a c-pap, which keeps her lungs open and pretty much reminds her to breathe and she gets a bit of oxygen when she needs it. We breathe 21% oxygen and most of the time she gets down to 22% if not room air. :) So she is fabulous. She is the smallest baby in the nicu and is also one of the healthiest. :) She has some tummy issues though, that first stool, the tarry stool, hasn't been coming out so she is backed up pretty bad.

They give her sepositories, enemas, and also did a test on here where they injected a contrast into her rectum to dilude the poop. It worked, she has been pooping a lot more and has actually been started on my breast milk today!! :) Only a cc every 3 hours, but my goodness I'm glad she can finally eat it. :) :) I'm so proud of her!!!!

I'm going to go, I have to pump again soon and I'd like to relax a little before I do. :) Don't forget to get over to Facebook to see the pictures!! :) <3 Keep praying for my little fighter!!!!! :) :) :) :)

GAH!!!!!

Okay, well I've been put back into the hospital. I went in for my regular appointment and he said to come back on Friday for another appointment and sent me home. Then he called around 6 or so and said I needed to come in and be admitted again. Now I'm pretty sure I'm here until we deliver the baby, which he said in his professional opinion will be soon.........

She is only one pound one ounce right now....her chances are not the greatest, but I am still keeping faith that she will be okay. I have to!! She is so strong and she has fought so hard already, she can do this!! She can make it!! And if she doesn't I know they tried everything they could to bring her into this world alive. I'm trying to stay positive and keep my head up but it's getting a little bit difficult now....

If she would just gain a little bit of weight I think it would be alright to deliver so soon....but she's so tiny...I don't know. I'm just updating you guys. I will let you all know more as soon as I know more. He is coming in to talk to me tomorrow morning so hopefully I know something tomorrow...I don't know though.

25 weeks ultrasound pictures and updates

Here's some ultrasound pictures of my little fighter!!!! :) She's so precious!! She wasn't cooperating for the 3D ultrasound, little stinker!! But we got some of her face and her gorgeous little hand lol. :) I hate to break it to anyone else in the world with a baby, but if my baby's hand is that gorgeous and perfect I can't imagine that the rest of her won't be as well, meaning she is the most beautiful in the world. LOL :)

She has been doing plenty of kicks to keep me happy and reassure me that she is alright in there. I have another appointment on Monday at 12:45, whether I come home from there or go to the hospital again I don't know. I'm sure it will be alright though. She's still being very active and everything. :) I love her and I can't believe that even if I go full term she will be here so SOON!!!!

Last night we were all sitting around and all of a sudden my nose started bleeding like crazy. It was like gushing out like someone cut it off! lol It was nuts!! It stopped pretty quickly though, so it wasn't too bad. It just freaked me out for a second. Of course I still called the hospital to ask about it, what can I say I'm paranoid!! :)

Well I will post and let you know what went on at my doctor appointment on Monday. So unless something happens before then, I will talk to y'all in a few days. :) :)

Happy Blogging!!

Baby update!!

Well I went in for my regular doctor appointment yesterday and they admitted me into the hospital to monitor the baby. She is doing great though.

My doctor said that I have blood clots behind my placenta, which is obviously not good and what is causing her to be so small. She isn't getting the nutrition and everything that she needs. He said it would be like me eating only half of what I eat. I'd be able to survive but I wouldn't be as healthy as I should be, and eventually it would take it's toll on me.

He assured me that there is a VERY good chance of her living and being okay. :) So I am pretty happy today to know all of that. HOWEVER, I AM EXHAUSTED!!!! It is very difficult to sleep in a hospital, I'm just saying!!

Anyway, I'm going to lay here and watch tv and relax. Happy Thanksgiving everyone by the way!!

Please still keep us in your thoughts and prayers!! :) :) :) :)

a mini update

I haven't been sleeping well the past few days, well really the whole pregnancy. But it has, of course, been harder since they told me about Tamina being so small. We are trying to stay positive. She is moving around and kicking and punching me just like she should. I mean it's technically supposed to be 10 movements in an hour but she does it whenever she feels like it. Sometimes it's 10 in an hour sometimes it's 25 in an hour and sometimes it's only 5 in an hour.

She's obviously very strong and VERY STUBBORN!! On Wednesday night I made mom take me to the hospital because I hadn't felt her move all day, the second they put that monitor on me she started kicking it. lol She's going to give me a heart attack you know!!

I'm very glad that she is still doing okay. I just can't help but wonder why I have such a problem having a healthy full term baby!? Why did things go south at 6 months like they did with Elijah? Why isn't she gaining the weight she needs to? Why didn't Elijah?? Are the steroids helping her!?

I have an appointment on Monday at 8 am to get a 3D/4D ultrasound done and also see if the steroids have helped, I'm assuming! She is still moving around and hitting me so she must be doing okay....I hope she stays doing well.

Keep us in your prayers please!!
