Back pain is a biatch

It's a beautiful cloudy rainy day here in lovely Michigan. The temperature is around 55 degrees. I love it!!

Plans for this wonderful Saturday, however I am not too fond of. At least part of them. Once my mother gets home at 2:30 we are heading over to South Bend to find Kristine a prom dress, BLAH! Hours of shopping for a dress she's going to wear once and that costs a million dollars...I never even enjoyed shopping for dresses when they were for me. For prom I wore a simple long black dress. Why can't she be as easy as me, huh?? But it's her senior prom so I have to be nice.

After 16 hours of looking for a dress we are going to go out and eat, yumm!!! Maybe do a little movie shopping for me, yay! I love movies by the way, I have a little of 300 DVDs. And then if things are still going great and we aren't tired mom and I are gonna stop off somewhere and pick up something to drink, if ya know what I mean!? Greg, mom and I are planning on drinking tonight to celebrate my birthday. Mom had to work Thursday so she couldn't drink with us on Wednesday. That's if we are all still up for it though. Who knows how this day will turn out.

Yesterday and today, I have been in so much pain! I haven't felt like this since like September of last year. It's the stupid fibromyalgia, I haven't had a "flare up" in a long time. Apparently being pregnant made it a little better. But oh my God, yesterday I woke up and all day I was almost in tears, I'm in so much pain. I took some of the meds they gave me before I got pregnant because the vicodin, believe it or not, doesn't help me anymore. So Tramadol and Flexeral is what I took. It didn't take the pain away but it relaxed me enough that I didn't start crying.

Today is a TINY bit better than yesterday, but not much. I'm still so achy! And I have to walk around for hours looking for dresses! GAH!

Wish me luck guys!! Hopefully my back doesn't give out on me in the middle of picking out a fluffy prom dress.

Happy blogging!!!

  1. I love the dry humor in this today.

And drink loads for me. I don't get to drink because I'm at a 10year olds birthday. Not exactly drinking age, but if they knew what was down the road I bet they'd start guzzling bottle after bottle.

Have fun picking out dresses. I don't know why, but I hate looking at dresses, but I LOVE to try them on. Same thing with shopping. I hate the actual looking at the clothes... I just want to try them on! =)

Anyways, HAVE FUN AND ENJOY THE NIGHT!
